I have subscribed to a few and it will instantly say that the mod is downloaded in the Downloads menu but will not steam mods not downloading in game. For example in Europa Universalis 4 all of my newly subscribed mods which steam said it downloaded have not appeared.
I have tried unsubbing, clearing my download cache, exiting steam, deleting appcache folder, restarting steam, resubscribing. None of these work. Thanks in advance. I only had 2 in my favorites and one in my "Currently Playing" category when originally there were many.
png No changes i can see that the redistributables work. I'm going to restart steam once more. Before I do I am going to unsubscribe from some mods that haven't installed and delete ones that are installed as well as their files in the mods folder and workshop folders.
We'll see how it goes. I have no game updates going on, just the workshop is downloading. Alright I buckled down and reinstalled the games affected.

do you think storage space is an issue? It could be a reason why steam isn't downloading your mods. definitely not. I have terabytes of space left. are you using a beta version? I am using Stable version. I will try beta and update this post. UPDATE: Beta version of Steam does not fix it. Neither dose switching back to steam mods not downloading. It seems like the eu4 mods and other Paradox games are just kinda messed up on the steam workshop. THE ISSUE HAS BEEN SOLVED Thank you very much to Steam Support for helping me through this.
Here I will paste the instructions they gave me that fixed the issue: If you already have these enabled, un-check then check them again to steam mods not downloading any bugs. old" - Launch the Steam Client and see if you can download and use the Workshop mods The second half of these instructions is what fixed it HOWEVER I had to unsubscribe from all of my mods before I closed the client and renamed the ugc and mod folders, steam mods not downloading.

I am having the same problem. Sadly no as I am on Windows and do not own a Mac. I would suggest that you contact Steam Support like I did, be patient with them and they'll most likely have the solution for you.
